Taster Sessions / Talks / Wellbeing Days
The Mindfulness Taster Session will explain what mindfulness is and how it can help manage stress in the workplace, encourage a better sense of well-being, improved health and enhance resilience to life’s ups and downs.
This may include learning about some of the science and efficacy underpinning Mindfulness. Delegates will experience one to two Mindfulness practices depending on time available. This is a great introduction to those who wish then to commit to a longer 4, 6 or 8 week course. There will be an opportunity to talk to the course leader at the end.
Only requirement is to wear comfortable clothing. There will be no physical exercise involved during this session.

An inspirational and knowledgeable introduction to Mindfulness and Meditation
Half-Day Workshops
Half day workshops can be tailor made to the client’s requirements. They take a more detailed look at Mindfulness and Meditation, its impact particularly on stress reduction and are more interactive and participative.
Delegates will experience approximately two or three Mindfulness practices and by the end of the session will have felt some of the benefits of Mindfulness, beginning to realise its value for workplace performance.

Full Programme:
Workplace Mindfulness For Resilience & Stress Reduction
This course is bespoke to the needs of the client and will give a thorough grounding in the theory and practice of Mindfulness and its potential outcomes and benefits in the workplace.
It is a progressive course with each session combining both the theory and the practical application of mindfulness at work (and home) together with guided meditations and enquiry and discussion. The course will allow delegates to fully integrate mindfulness into their working lives in an enjoyable and effortless manner.
They will learn a range of practical techniques and strategies that enable them to have more physical and emotional resilience and to be more effective in the workplace and beyond. They will learn to use the programme to develop a more sustainable, high performance culture.

- 4 to 8 week course. One session per week of 1 ½ hours.
Alternatively over a longer or shorter period in blocks of 1 – 3 hour sessions
General:
On the Full Programme an initial consultation with an organisation is necessary to clarify proposed business objectives and outcomes
It is suggested these outcomes to be reviewed/evaluated 6 months after the course has finished
On the Full Programme there will be pre and post course delegate questionnaires to act both as a measurement tool and as a benchmark of development

Business Away Days: Mindfulness Retreat Day
This is an opportunity to combine mental and physical Mindfulness into one day and step back from the stress and busyness of multi-tasking, plate spinning, work overload, deadlines etc.
White Paper reports such as those written by the National Institute of Health, UK, and Harvard University both suggest that Mindfulness of mind and body is more than a worthwhile investment for the ‘bottom line’ of a company, and can represent significant gain on an organisational level. A chance to de-stress and re-invigorate!

Mindfulness and Meditation only takes a few hours to learn however the key is
that people then have the skills and resources to help look after their own wellbeing and quality of life
**Guidance suggests that Meditation is not intended to replace any medication or treatment plans provided by your healthcare practitioner. If you are under the auspices of a healthcare practitioner please contact them before beginning a Mindfulness and Meditation course. Please note in some clinical cases Mindfulness may not be suitable for clients. Please discuss with your proposed Mindfulness Trainer.
